Deliverables: Intimate speaker event at Sydney Opera House Yallamundi Rooms for 204 guests featuring Eliud Kipchoge and Sifan Hassan interviewed by Hamish McLachlan. Theatre-style seating with stage backdrop, entrance branding including welcome screen and wall projection, commemorative postcard takeaways with speaker quotes, and green room facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Designed spatial experience targeting genuine running community members who earned access via Strava challenge. Developed intimate seating layout creating closeness to marathon legends. Created art direction with vapour red branding across entrance welcome screen, counter backdrop and wall projections. Designed 3.6m stage with black lounge seating and coffee tables for two speakers and host. Coordinated VIP seating sections for Nike athletes, outdoor harbour-view gathering space and backstage green room facilities.
Outcome: Delivered once in a lifetime opportunity for committed runners to experience proximity to Kipchoge and Hassan at Sydney's most iconic venue. Event successfully balanced intimate atmosphere with venue prestige, creating focused, elevated environment honouring marathon legends. Strava challenge access strategy ensured genuine running purists attended, reinforcing Nike's connection with dedicated athletic community.
