Role: Senior Architectural Lighting Designer at Ambience Lighting
Deliverables: Abstract lighting sculptures using custom aluminium extrusions for Denfair 2020 exhibition. Playful forms inspired by musical symbolism including triangles, musical staves and play/pause/stop symbols exploring intersection of light and sound.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborated with art director Marsha Golemac to translate 2D and 3D concepts into aluminium extrusions. Engineered custom joiners enabling four channels to meet at apex, requiring iterative prototyping to achieve precision. Coordinated internal and external teams remotely during Melbourne's lockdown to ensure successful fabrication and installation.
Outcome: Installation earned 2020 LIT Lighting Design Award in Exhibition Booth Lighting category. Featured in Frame Magazine's "10 examples of sculptural lighting for a variety of environments," highlighting project's versatility and artistic appeal across different design contexts.
