Brief: Overhaul the visitor experience at one of the Middle East's largest aquariums, improving audience engagement and increasing dwell time through a reimagined thematic narrative and integrated AV technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Led concept development to reimagine the Lost Chambers Aquarium experience around an Atlantis narrative
  • Designed three-phase experience structure: Discovery Stage with interactive puzzles and AV-enhanced Atlantis reveal, Exploration Phase with curated marine pathways, and Educational Component with multimedia presentations
  • Created immersive entrance featuring a large-scale curved LED wall integrated into the architectural arch
  • Developed large-scale interactive wayfinding map to assist visitor navigation
  • Designed education room with LED wall and custom interactive touch table for school groups
  • Conceived companion tablet system with bespoke housing aligned to the aquarium's set design aesthetic

Outcome: Delivered a comprehensive concept demonstrating how AV technology and experience design could revitalise a major aquatic venue. The three-phase structure balanced entertainment, exploration, and learning across multiple interactive touchpoints, promoting marine conservation and education throughout the visitor journey.
